There are certain groups for which all organizations will want to either print a list,
roster, or mailing labels. Officers, 50 Year Veterans, and
Merit Awards recipients are a few that come to mind. Provisions for these have been coded
in to the application already. However the ability to "group" your members,
candidates, widows, etc. into categories particular to the needs of your
organization is
imperative.
Using the "Group Code Feature" you designate as many as 64 different
categories of your own choosing. Each member, candidate, widow, etc., can belong to as few
as none or as many as all the individual groups.
You may want a list or roster the members who live in the local area. You may wish
to send a special mailing to the "shut-ins" or infirmed. You may want to contact
only those who regularly attend, or those who seldom do. You could divide you
membership into a number groups to be given to the members of the phone committee. You
might want to know who are cooks or craftsmen or for any number of other categories.
This feature allows rosters and mailing labels to be printed for these individual
groups or categories at the click of the mouse.
When printing mailing labels a group code may be used to select only
those within that particular group or to exclude those within a particular
group from the mailing. They may be used seperatly or in combination. An
example would be to send to all living in the "local area" with
the exception of those who are "shut ins."
