The sort is done by Postal Code order.
The version of the application which is designed for use by Lodges belonging to
"foreign jurisdictions" does not sort the mail in the same manner as those
designed for use within the United States for the following reason.
Each country has a somewhat different Postal Code format. It is not possible to
write an application which would format the Postal Code properly for each country. To
solve this problem the Postal Code field for the "foreign jurisdictions" is
formatted as an alphanumeric field. You can enter any combination of numbers, letter,
dashes or spaces.
