How can a Lodge use an application not
specifically designed for their Jurisdiction?

The generic version of the application is universal. The only difference between the applications which have been modified for a specific Jurisdiction and the generic version is the format in which the information is presented.

As an example every Grand Jurisdiction needs to know:

bulletThe dates on which a candidate receives his First and Second degrees.
bulletWhen he becomes a Master Mason.
bulletWhen a Mason affiliates with other Lodges.
bulletWhen a member dimits from your Lodge.
bulletWhen a one of your members is suspended, restored or passes away.
bulletWho the Elective Officers of the various Lodges are.
bulletWho is receiving special awards or honors.
bulletand so on.

Also the individual Lodges need to:

bulletBe able to retrieve information on their individual members.
bulletKnow who is eligible for service or veterans awards.
bulletKnow who has received various awards.
bulletKnow who is delinquent in their dues payments and who is current.
bulletPrint mailing labels.
bulletPrint rosters of their membership.
bulletPrint birthday lists.
bulletKnow who their Officers are.
bulletKnow who their Pastmasters are.
bulletKnow who their Candidates are. etc..
bulletSet up their individual committees
bulletKeep in touch with their Masonic Widows.
bulletAnd so on.

This information, and much more, is compiled and printed at a mouse click. Many Grand Jurisdictions accept the forms and reports printed by this application as is. If your Grand Lodge does not, you simply transfer the data to their particular form. However you do no research. The application does that for you at the click of the mouse.
