He was presented his 50 year Golden Veteran’s Award in Ocean
Park Lodge by H. Douglas Lemons, then Grand Lecturer and later Grand Master (1980).
He served his country in the United States Navy during World War
I.
He is the reason I became a Mason.
I have missed his wise counsel since his Raising in the
Celestial Lodge.
